10' Hopper II - stability
Available in both eight or ten foot lengths, with either one (8’) or two (10’) pedestal seats, the Hopper II is configured for both solo and buddy fishing. The Hopper II’s roomy interior provides plenty of storage space to let you stow your gear out of the way. And both Hopper II’s boast U.S. Coast Guard approved flotation for added safety. Hull colors include: white, ivory, gray, teal and forest green.
10' Hopper II - fly line friendly
Here is a shot of the interior of our two seat 10' Hopper II with our optional Electric Motor Cable Kit. This option allows us to use the stern seatbox to store your battery keeping it away from your fly line. A conduit is placed in the floor during construction to run the electric motor cables NOTE: Most manufacturers have shortened their cable we guess as a way to save money so you will probably have to build your own extension cord or add it to your list of options on your pram when we build it. This shot also shows you the flotation tanks in the bow and both corners of the stern. Note the leg room in the stern by allowing your legs to reach all the way to the transom. Also, as in all our fiberglass prams the flotation tanks are designed and built so if you get a few fly line loops hung up around the corner or on top of them you fly line will fall back into the bottom of the pram where it should be. Carpet is a great idea for the floor. We use a specific brand and model of carpet for our carpet kits. Our carpet allows your fly line to find the "valleys" of the carpet so even if you step on your fly line you risk a much lesser chance of damaging the coating of the line. It also helps to wear gum sole shoes. We highly recommend a boot we have used for years from a company named Schnee's Boot & Shoes located in Bozeman, MT. 10' Hopper II - single seat
Here is one of our most popular prams since
we started building it. This is our standard 10' Hopper II- single seat. We leave the bow
seatbox out and move the stern seatbox 8" forward. There is a HUGE amount of room in
this pram. As all of our prams, very stable, extremely smooth in the water and draws very
little water. We have had rave reviews on this pram from the fly fishers as well as
hunters looking for extra room. We can also fiberglass in "tabs" in the
floor to hold an Igloo 25 quart Marine cooler. It is about the same height as the seatbox
allowing you to take that "extra person", or lunch, or dog food (we hunt too),
or ????? when you need to.
